Johnny Adams, also known as "J.A.," is a native of Akron, Ohio, whose journey from professional football to entrepreneurship and motivational speaking has inspired people around the world. As a leadership coach, he is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others, particularly young athletes.

 

Johnny's academic and athletic achievements began at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, where he graduated with a B.A. in Social Science in 2012. During his time at Michigan State, he received First Team All-American Honors, 3x All Big Ten Defensive Back awards, and was part of the Big Ten Champion team in 2010. His success both on and off the field made him a prime example of a student-athlete.

 

In his professional career, Johnny played in the NFL for esteemed teams such as the Houston Texans, Oakland Raiders, Indianapolis Colts, and the Buffalo Bills, showcasing his determination and skill. Seeking to extend his career, he spent four additional seasons playing in the CFL (Canadian Football League), where he earned the prestigious All CFL All-Star title during his first year with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He also contributed his talents to the Hamilton Wildcats and the Edmonton Eskimos before retiring in 2020.

 

Today, Johnny's mission is to serve and inspire others based on their individual needs while promoting a fundamental philosophy of wellness. He serves as a Varsity Football coach for his alma mater, Akron Buchtel High School, and mentors students in several schools throughout the Akron area, both on and off the field. Additionally, he is a sought-after motivational speaker, sharing his personal journey and emphasizing the importance of hard work, determination, and perseverance, particularly with young students.
